Where Dey At?

We have a saying in New Orleans, Where y'at? ie, your location.   So..... I would like to know, Where dey at?  ie, where has my art gone.   Please tell me about your piece of artwork that I created.  Where is it now?  Did you give it as a gift?  Did you receive it as a gift?  Anything you else you want me to know, just say it.

Now that it is out of my hands, what has happened with my art? Tell me.

All the way to Stockholm.  Adding a new country to the list!

I bought this wonderful mug from you on the 13th of July 2014, during a tour going from San Francisco to New York. Both I and the mug have now safely made our way back home to Stockholm, Sweden, and I can enjoy my hot beverages from this grip friendly piece of pottery/art. In the attached photo I brought the mug and some coffee up onto the small skiing slope “Hammarbybacken” on the outskirts of Stockholm, from where one can see a great part of the Swedish capital.

Best regards from Sweden!

All the way to Boves, Italy
One of my Silveramic vessels has found a new home in Boves, Italy along with a glass fish purchased at the New Orleans School of Glassworks.  Thank you Andrea for sending me the picture
My friend and fellow artist, Tress Turner, has done what almost everyone does, decorate their refrigerator.  However, this is a ceramic refrigerator bank that I made for her.  It's about 12 inches high and she has decked it out.  It even has a magnet on it.   I love how she enhanced my creation with her additions.

Vases In Pensacola

Jane sent me these images of my vases.  She purchased the green from me at The Dutch Alley Artist Co-op and loved it so much she emailed to see if I had any others.  I emailed back a couple of pieces for her to choose from and she got the blue one last month.

Paperweight finds a new home.

Gleb and his family really like their new paperweight.  "it's brightening our daily experience."  Not sure where they live but I'm glad they enjoy the paperweight.

Pendant lights at Kate's house

Kate and all her friends love the pendant lights I made for her kitchen.  - New Orleans
Sandra in NY sent me a card with a photo of her raku red fleur de lis clay heart which now hangs in her apartment in Brooklyn. It's in the entry way to her apartment.
The Glassbergs sent me this phono of my
fleur de lis suncatcher hanging by their front door. It accompanies other glass they have collected
from Dubrovnik, Savannah, Key West, Portland, Seattle, the Berkshires, Phnom Penh, and Dublin.
It was an early Christmas for these girls.  The custom snowball nightlights were commissioned by their parents and delivered by FedEx.  I'm gonna guess they did not have the Fedex guy that tossed the computer over the fence and these arrived in perfect condition in Indiana.
This "Tea Stein" was extra big as a traditional tea cup just wasn't big enough for the client.  It is a Christmas gift for her dad out in California.  Shipped it out earlier in the month.  Hope he likes it.

Hello Gerald, we have a yellow and orange vase that sits in our living room. I purchased this while I was on vacation in New Orleans on a girls trip. I loved your work so much that I had to order a red Ciambella bowl for another shelf in my living room. Can't wait to add to the collection.

Hi Gerald, we have a large, beautiful glass paperweight you created many years ago. It currently sits in our "Library/Guest Bedroom" on a credenza under the back window!

Patricia, Richardson, TX

We love your work and were thrilled to give an orange Ghirigori piece to friends living in the Netherlands.

We also gave a Gioielli piece to friends in St. Louis as a wedding gift.
